SUMMARY:Introduction to Celtic Shamanism
DESCRIPTION:This workshop is an introduction to Celtic shamanism as shared in the oral tradition of European French-speaking countries. Every member of these Celtic clans used to practice shamanism as a tool for self-development with the help of one’s power animals and spiritual guides: to know oneself better\, increase one’s well-being and health\, and to follow one’s personal spiritual path in harmony with one’s environment and others. In this workshop\, you will learn the basic principles of Celtic shamanic practice\, including how to prepare for shamanic journeying by setting up the altar\, grounding oneself in the Earth\, and setting one’s protection. You will then experience shamanic journeying with the drum with the help of their power animals. \nExperience with shamanic journeying is helpful\, but not required. Please bring a yoga mat\, blanket\, pillow\, eye mask or scarf\, water bottle\, journal\, a hand drum if you have one (there will be some available for you to borrow)\, and anything else you might need to be comfortable during your journeys. \nParticipants’ registration fees will be donated to Shanti India\, an NGO that supports the construction of a self-sustaining school with permaculture fields that will be productive for future generations. The school currently serves around 700 children (https://shantindia.org/). \nFacilitated by Celtic shamanic practitioner Ari Ross.

DESCRIPTION:Reconnect to your Cosmic Oneness in a sound healing journey to bring your body\, mind\, and spirit back into harmonic alignment. Sound healing facilitators Sharon Wittmann and Zak Martin combine their musical and spiritual energies to provide a space for healing on multiple levels. The sounds and vibrations of crystal bowls\, gongs\, Tibetan bowls\, chimes\, handpan\, drums\, and vocal toning will guide you on your journey back to Wholeness. Please bring a yoga mat\, blanket\, and pillow for your comfort during this 2 hour sound bath. The event will start at 7pm. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to get settled in. SUMMARY:Tuning Forks for Self Care 10/22/23
DESCRIPTION:Sound healing can help the body heal as well as support the body in maintaining good health. This workshop is an introduction into using the sound healing modality of tuning forks for self care and wellness. We will be using the Gaia Frequency Body Tuner forks created by Jonathan Goldman. We will learn acupuncture points on the body to place the tuning forks to help heal issues such as headache\, muscle aches\, insomnia\, and digestive issues. Points for grounding\, increased energy\, and support for the immune system will also be covered. Price for the class includes the tuning forks. Space is limited to 8 people. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
